CNSA Gymnasts’ Achievements

CNSA Gymnasts did Ahmedabad City Proud by bagging the most medals in Artistic Gymnastics at the Gujarat State Gymnastics Competition for Sub-Junior and Junior Championships. The competition was held at Rajpipla on 27th February 2022 – a day after Ahmedabad City observed its birthday. CNSA’s team of Women’s Artistic Gymnastics consisted of 9 gymnasts of which 5 girls secured top honors.  The medals won by CNSA Gymnasts are as under:

The other gymnasts on CNSA’s team were Rushvi Shalot, Swara Rathod, Vaishvi Soni and Yahvi Sharma. All these girls have been training at CNSA for the last three to five years.

CNSA Hockey Achievement

Navneet Pandey, Hockey player of CNSA represented Ahmedabad District Team in the Men’s Senior State Level Tournament held at Deesa (Banaskantha) on 19th and 20th February, 2022. Nine teams of different Districts participated in this tournament of which the Ahmedabad Team emerged victorious. Navneet, the youngest player on the team, played a pivotal role as the defender. In the photo, Navneet is seen holding the trophy along with coach Francis Parmar who was the Ahmedabad team manager for this event. This was the sixth consecutive victory for the Ahmedabad District Team at the State Level.

CNSA’s Dhruvi Patel breaks 18-year-old record at GU Meet

CNSA athlete Dhruvi was crowned Discus Throw Champion among girls at Gujarat University’s 73rd Inter-College Sports meet held from 28th to 31st December 2021. Her throw at 29.68 metres broke an 18 year old record of 28.47 metres by Rashida Munshi. Dhruvi had her eyes on this record and had been practicing on her strength and technique for the last two years.
