Technical Centre
Overview
In the year 1937 C.N. Technical Center was started with an aim to prepare students self-reliant and to start their own independent work to get opportunity for appropriate placement job with the help of industrial and technical training on the campus.
Courses
Founded in 1937, this centre provides vocational engineering training courses to students who have passed S.S.C. Exam. The institute conducts the following courses:

These courses are recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State; its examination is conducted by the Technical Examination Board.

- A) Medium of study: Gujarati
- B) Eligibility : Std. 9th pass and Std. 10th pass,
Admission Process: After getting the result of standard 10, admission can be obtained. - C) Fee scale: As per government policy

Those who pass the examination of the above certificate courses taken by the Technical Board can get direct admission in the second year of Diploma Engineering.

A student who has passed this course is exempted from Wireman’s examination and get Wireman’s license. Electrical supervisor’s license is obtained after two years of experience. Electrical contractor can get a job there as well as an electrician in different industrial units. - Electronics Appliances and Computer Technician Employment Opportunities

Students who has passed this course are exempted from wireman examination and get wireman license. Electrical Supervisor License is obtained after two years of experience. Electrical contractors as well as various industrial units can get jobs as wiremen.
Employment fairs are also organized for the students who have completed their studies from the institute. Various companies are invited for the same. Most of the students succeed in getting employment from the campus.
Facilities
The institute has a well-equipped machine shop, Electrical machine laboratory, Electronics laboratory, Wiring laboratory and Drafting classes. In order to impart practical lessons, the technical centre houses a huge machinery workshop.
For the first four courses, students interested in studying further can pursue diploma courses in engineering.
The students are qualified to seek employment in the respective fields at the end of each course. On the completion of courses, the students are eligible for the respective Diploma courses if they wish to pursue their education in Engineering.
